The new plugin from Audio Damage introduces a lesser known distortion type to truly destroy sounds. Grains provides both extreme and gentle distortion as well as filtering and gating. A year or so ago, in our never-ending quest for unique mangling tones, we came across wavetable lookup distortion. Audio Damage has announced the immediate availability of its latest plugin for Windows, Mac and Linux. An architecturally unique and sonically characterful looping toolkit for producers and live performers, inspired by both modern looper pedals and vintage tape-based setups, Enso combines elegant and intuitive UI design with a deep but. Fluid is an analog-modeled chorus that, if we may be so bold, cleans the floor with the typical chorus that comes with your DAW. For subtle phasey widening and full-on modulation mayhem, it makes chorus a usable effect again, from giving pads a wide stereo stage to livening up stiff and static guitar parts.
